Tvmeribiwi continues the tradition of bringing to you the best from the entertainment arena and proudly presents the first season of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. This rib-tickling show was launched in June 2005 and had become an instant hit amongst viewers. Redefining the ‘comedy’ genre on television, it created a never-before platform for the upcoming comedians.

This hugely popular show has a hilarious format, where 50 finalists selected from a nationwide call for entries, aspire to make the country laugh and impress the eminent jury of Shekhar Suman and Navjyot Singh Sidhu. The program showcases the finest and most humorous performances of the short-listed contestants from across the country. Each laugh-packed episode features a dazzling array of outstanding comic routines, as well as the hilarious presence of judges Shekhar Suman & Navjot Singh Sidhu, otherwise known as “The Wizards of Wit”.
